Calrose Brown Rice
Medium Grain

Price

Add nutrients like fiber and iron to your favorite dishes with Hindoe Calrose brown rice. The bran and germ in the outer layer of this whole grain gives it a hearty, chewy texture and rich, nutty flavor. Did you know that Hinode Calrose brown rice comes from the same plants as Hinode Calrose white rice? The only difference is that the bran layer (outermost brown layer where nutrients are stored) is milled away to make white rice.

Brown rice can be substituted for most white rice recipes. It’s used in casserole dishes because it holds up well under longer cook times. The natural color and texture also adds a gourmet appearance to salads. Cook up some extra brown rice on Sunday and add natural whole grains to meals all week long.
